We weren't expecting much given his energy level, but surprisingly things went well and he and James had a good ride. Afterwards, they cooled down outside and I snapped a few pics. I think you can tell these two kinda like each other.

A Nice Sunday Morning, Despite the Plague...
The Black Lung (my new favorite term, courtesy of AWIP reader Hilary) has been running through the house and the kids and I have pretty much been unable to do anything other than hold down the couches. This morning Sug had a vet re-check for her corneal ulcer, and Noah roused himself enough to take the lesson we had scheduled for him.

The boy and his horse are adorable. Hope you all get to feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hilary! I wrote this as i was runnign out the door to soccer. Note that I credited you with the Black Lung moniker in an update. :) Thanks!
DeleteAh thanks. Always appreciated. As I mentioned I stole the term myself from a movie so no credit needed :)
DeleteYour handsome Boys!
ReplyDeleteSuuuuuu weeeeet! I think he should try fox hunting...
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, I think we both should foxhunt. However, at the moment James still gets a bit quick due to the Boy's loose lower leg and quick body movements, so I think we'll try to fix those before attempting foxhunting. Have a feeling if we tried it now, I would be driving to Western PA to pick them up. :)
DeleteA witty post, Amy. I also have been suffering from the Black Whatever. However, despite your illness, you have found a way to make me laugh. So, I will drop a couple more extra strength tylenols, blow my nose and get to work on my post.
ReplyDeleteThen again, maybe tomorrow.
Oh no, sorry to hear you're in the clutches of the plague as well. I'm glad I was able to give you a giggle, and hope it makes you feel better so you can write a blog post.
DeleteOops, sorry. My comment was meant for the post before this one...
