The kiddos are off to bed and dreaming of baskets filled with Hersheys Kisses, chocolate bunnies, Cadbury Eggs, and Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs. Mommy doesn't have to dream about them -- Mommy is eating them now. (They won't miss what they never had, right?)
Anyway, saw the cutest thing on the way to the barn today and wanted to share. The heck with the Easter Beagle, now we have the Easter Hippo! (The local vet hospital has the hippo on their lawn and dresses it up for the holidays.)

I guess when you turn 20 you don't get Easter chocolate. Rip Off!
ReplyDeleteMiranda, you need to talk to your Union Representative. My husband is in his 40's and STILL gets chocolate from his Mom on Easter! LOL So does his Dad, for that matter. Maybe you just need to be Italian. Heaven knows I don't get any (except what I take from the kids' baskets!)

DeleteThe Easter Bunny did make a stop, and Miranda the 20 year old did get candy. There is no reason to panic, the bunny does not discriminate against the youth deprived among us. ;)

ReplyDeleteToo funny! I love the one on your site! Do you live/board in the Oldwick area? We board our horse just up the road and I grew up in Pittstown, worked at the Tewksbury Inn while in college. And I agree-- the governor is a jackhole! LOL
